We are part of the Texas Center for Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics (TCCAP), one of the three centers in the Weinberg Institute for Theoretical Physics (WI). We interact with other researchers at UT Austin, particularly within the WI and in the Department of Astronomy, including the groups led by Julian Muñoz and Mike Boylan-Kolchin.

Information for interested students

  • Current (or incoming) PhD students at UT Austin:
Send me an email to ask about potential research opportunities.
  • Recommended advanced graduate courses:
Cosmology, QFT, General Relativity, High Energy and Astroparticle Physics
  • Prospective graduate students:
Our admissions are handled by the department, not individual faculty members. I am not usually able to provide information about your admission status beyond what you see in the application system. I receive a large number of emails from interested students, and due to time constraints, I am not always able to respond and cannot meet with applicants before admissions decisions are made. After you are admitted, we can discuss research group matches within the WI and available openings in my group, which can vary year to year.
